VERY Tidy example of this Classic CZ BRNO Arms Bolt Action Rifle in .222 Remington. 22” (560mm) Barrel set to a 13 1/8” (345mm) Stock pull length. Overall the bare rifle finishes at 40 ½” (1028mm) and weighs in at 6 lbs 3 oz (2.3 Kg).
Generally Great Condition with hardly a mark to the Strong Straight Grained Stock. That has some Excellent Dark Contrasting Stripes running the entire length and the usual Raised Cheek rest. Single standard but adjustable trigger. Detachable magazine and basically a Mini Mauser 98 action so faultless. Chequering is still crisp to the touch too. Everything points to a rifle with minimal use so far.
As for the calibre all I can say is that if you are looking then something has spiked your interest. Quite WHY popularity declined a good few years back I have no idea. What I DO KNOW is (thankfully) interest seems to be making a major recovery. I now sell more of this calibre than any of the other .22 centre fire options. They are SUCH a Delight to use with way more than enough performance for any realistic live quarry shooter. Reloading is ridiculously inexpensive as is the factory ammo. Recoil is about zero even without a sound mod too. Even then noise is more than acceptable for anyone who remembers a time when every rifle went BANG!
