Where applicable this service includes collection from site, directly by ourselves. All items then held in safe storage while executors carry out owners wishes etc. Or whatever other arrangements arrise.
Executors, solicitors and or family members are all equally welcome to call for advice and help.
We appreciate this is not the best time for anyone concerned. Neither it is a time to fall foul of current Firearms Legislation and the Law. Unless you HAVE correct authority for possession of any particular gun you break the Law. You cannot legally even transport them to a place of safe keeping. Now, whilst I would hope common sense prevails, it’s far better not to have to find out. Trying to sort things in a police station or even in front of a judge is something to avoid. Wherever possible!
The police will certainly collect any such weapon/s but will NOT keep them for long. Also, given best will in the world, they can and often do end up damaged whilst in their care. …. It’s just another ‘job’ for an officer and anyone else involved on that side.
As shooters ourselves we understand they may well be of great sentimental significance and value. Regardless of actual value. As such, here, they receive the care and attention our own possessions do.

FOR THE PURPOSES OF INSURANCE:
We are happy to provide a full professional valuation service for any guns and shooting related items of any value. This is available for both the private client as well as insurance companies. We are also happy to securely hold and store any such items during dispute or claim etc. (At the expense of who so ever deposits any such item). Any and all services in relation to such matters will be subject to our professional fees. These will include any and all relevant paperwork required.
Fee’s will be subject to the amount of work required and advised prior to such works commencing. However, PLEASE NOTE; A standard minimum charge of £90 Nett of VAT applies in all cases. Regardless of value of goods.
