Model 527 CZ Brno Arms Bolt Action Rifle in .22 Hornet. Barrel is the factory 23 5/8” (600mm) and NOT screw cut as yet. Trigger pull length at 13 ¾” (350mm) bringing in an overall length of 42 1/8” (1070mm). Bare rifle weighs in at 6 Lbs 1 ½ oz (2.761 Kg).
Single Set or Hair Trigger which is NOTHING to be afraid of. Set it up to use or adjust out of play. However USE it and you WILL watch your accuracy improve. ALL you have to do is simply learn how to operate the thing. Find out and remember how to safely return it to a standard trigger and / or safe. THAT’S IT and its NOT hard! None of them are anything more than a 4 year old could manage in reality. It always amazes me to see grown adults shy away. Mainly due to mis-information generally posted on-line OR from other shooters who simply did not do the above! They then ‘claim’ they are unsafe. As usual its seldom the tool to blame but IS almost always what suffers because of human stupidity.
Stock IS actually Quite Decorative with some Dark Contrast and Cross / Stripe Pattern to the Grain. There are a couple of ‘dings’ from careless use but they would, likely, lift out a lot with steam. Semi-Hogs Back profile, Raised Cheek Piece too with Chequering still clean and crisp.
As said, this is cheap enough for a reasonably scarce calibre to find these days. That is NOT because they are old / no good / unpopular. Quite the opposite. I can’t find enough to keep up with demand usually. IT IS a FANTASTIC round that has been available for MANY YEARS and Thankfully once again finding a following. I have had mine for decades.
(What CAN you get for this kind of money these days? Some people will spend this on a night out).
