This arrived in with a completely shattered stock but otherwise almost if not actually brand new condition. It has also been here some time and near forgotten about. New images certainly required. I will TRY to get these sorted and swapped over ASAP.
Now set into an after-market Black Synthetic Stock and test fired for accuracy. Sub inch grouping at a distance well past 100 yards.
Barrel as original with open sights and 23 1/2″ (600mm). Stock length comes in at near enough 14″ dead (356mm) giving an overall measurment at 44 1/2″ (1130mm). Bare rifle is a seriously light weight 6 1/2 Lbs (2.955 Kg).
IDEAL to take onto the open hill / out all day.
It is a standard Mauser 98 action so will fit into just about any Mauser replacement stock. Minimal, IF ANY, fitting required you prefer timber.
As it is this is an EXCELLENT quality rifle in equally good condition. It is also in THE most versatile calibre invented. Bullets ranging from 70gr through to 220gr are available. Nothing else gives you so many options.
