Match 64 Bolt Action .22 Rim Fire Target rifle from Anschutz, Germany.
This is a bare, basic rifle in tidy enough condition. The only real sign of anything is the original blueing finish wearing off. Just to the front end of the action. I assume that a previous owner held the rifle at this point whilst shooting. Over the years just the sweat / moisture from his hand has worn away the blue.
The Anatomical Grip 14 5/8” (346mm) pull Beech stock is also in half decent order still. It comes with a large raised cheek piece as well as a palm swell with contoured grip and thumb rest / cut out. These were often the choice of a Lady, youngster or simply anyone who struggled with a full weight ‘54’.
This tips the scales at 8 Lbs 5 oz (3.779 KG) as pictured and an overall length of 43 7/8” (1115mm). The butt plate is height adjustable to move to your individual preference. At some stage someone has also added the large, after-market Bolt Knob. I usually have matching or similar Vintage Target Sights that can be supplied at additional costs should no scope be required.
