UK DEER Legal (for the 3 smaller species) 30-30 Calibre Winchester M94 Take Down Trails End Under Lever Rifle. Brand New and VERY easy to split the rifle down into a compact, neat, SUPER discreet and easily transported rifle. Simply pull the magazine tube mounted lever down at right angles and unscrew it. Pull it back slightly and the barrel, forend and tube rotate through 90 degrees and slide away. Each half easily tucked into even a small suitcase, back pack or similar. Simply reverse things and the rifle is back together. Fit a scope to the action and it SHOULD go back together well enough for a ‘boiler house’ shot at any reasonable distance.
20” (508mm) barrel set to a 13 5/8” (346mm) stock pull. As usual the woodwork is typical basic American fare. Pretty plain but strong and functional. That said, given what these rifles were and still are designed for ‘good looks’ from the timber was not a requirement.
Overall the rifle tips scales at 6 Lbs 15 oz (3.150 Kg) with the overall length a compact 38” (965mm).
