Description

WEBLEY AND SCOTT, BIRMINGHAM .177 WEBLEY TRACKER

Side Lever .177 (4.5mm) Webley TRACKER Air Rifle From Webley and Scott, Birmingham, England. Overall the gun measures to a compact 36 ¼” (925mm) tipping scales at 7 lbs 1oz. (3.2 Kg). Barrel is 11 3/4” (300mm) with a trigger pull length at 13 5/8” (345mm).

Serial number and manufacturing window details put production of this rifle between 1982 and 1983.

It came in along with 3 other ‘older’ / similar era air rifles. All purchased and used from new by the previous owner, now deceased. His nephew brought them and remembers learning to shoot with the Webley Jaguar currently listed. The third is a Webley Mark 3 and the last a Weihrauch HW35 Hofmann Premier.

SERIOUSLY SOLIDLY made. Something that will easily still be working 100 years and more from now with simple care and maintenance. Scope mount Dovetail to the top of the Spring body and also retains the original open / iron sights. Fixed position barrel with a Pivoting Tap Loading Port and Sidelever Operation / Cocking. That with a Multi-Point Safety Ratchet. Adjustable trigger too. A VERY Nice and Highly Decorative Stock to finish the spec. off and complete with Logo / Name Disc and original pistol grip cap.

As pictured the original Users / Parts / Advertising pamphlet was also supplied. It also references the Mark 3 Rifle. A copy is included with the sale of either rifle.

For an air rifle now 40 years old I consider it IMMACULATE. Yet another MORE than Worthy candidate for ANY serious Webley and Scott or even General Air Rifle Collection. Each one of the four that came in all are.

If you are looking at this you already KNOW. Or are busy finding out just how well thought of these air rifles are.
