16 Gauge Sauer side by Side Box Lock None Ejector shotgun.
In many ways a none ejector is by far the best option for most people shooting. Most of the time most shooters block the spent cartridges from ejecting. Then you can pull them out and dispose of the cases without having to bend over and search the undergrowth!
This is a nicely balanced gun with 26 ¾” (680mm) barrels and fixed chokes at ½ and ¾. Standard game chambers of 2 ½” (65mm). The stock comes in at 14 3/8” (365mm). It also sports a raised cheek piece for a right handed shot.
Remarkably these stocks also work and mount surprisingly well for left handed customers too. At 6lbs 2 ½ oz (2.78Kg) this is a nice light weight gun for a walked up shoot or anything else. The action has a triple lock with a cross bolt and cocking indicators to the top of the shoulders. It has minimal border engraving. Just a nicely understated quality piece.
They are SUPERBLY made guns and equal to just about any top quality option available now or past. Internally even the parts to the locks are generally individually numbered. NOT an inexpensive option and rarely found on anything other than the best of the best. It is just a very simple but classy little gun.
