.22 WMR Winchester Magnum Rimfire Model 597 Remington Semi-Automatic Rifle. 19 7/8” (505mm) Unthreaded Semi Heavy Barrel set to an Ambidextrous Stock. Pull of 14 1/8” (358mm) with only spent case ejection to factor in. Overall length finishes at a compact 38 ½” (977mm) and the bare rifle tips in at 6 Lbs 3 ½ oz (2.822 Kg). This is a Semi-Heavy weight barrel.

This Stock is Grey Laminate so Extremely Hard wearing and Rigid. At time of listing I also have a Brown Laminate example available too. Choice is yours depending on which you prefer.
This is basically as Clean as the proverbial whistle. There is one small blemish to the woodwork but you have to catch the right light to see it. Detachable 5 round vertical stack magazine for flawless feed. With the performance of the round there is little that should escape! BEAR THIS IN MIND: A .22 WMR supplies roughly the same energy and velocity 100 yards away as a standard .22 rimfire at the muzzle. That is potentially DEVASTATING performance given semi-automatic so a follow up as fast as you can squeeze the trigger. For longer range Rabbits and Hare these were around LONG before smaller .17 options hit the scene. Even fox stand little chance especially with the ‘double tap’ second round follow up so readily available.
Cross action safety set to the rear of the trigger guard. Another handy feature is the action slide locks open after the last round. Certainly helps keep track of an empty magazine and firing on an empty chamber!
