Model 1100 Semi-Automatic 12G SKEET Shotgun from Remington USA.
25 ½” (650mm) Fixed Wide Open (Skeet) choked barrel and stamped as such. Though these do swap straight out with matching fixed or multi-choke options. 14” (350mm) Pull giving an overall length of 46” (1170mm). Scales tip over at 8 Lbs 2 oz (3.678 Kg). Raised and Ventilated ¼” (6mm) Sighting Rib with twin Beads. Small Brass to the mid position with a larger White option to the muzzle.
Some light Scroll Work Engraving Pattern to each side of the action as well as the Bolt Body.
The 1100 is known world wide for flawless operation through a big variety of cartridges and loads. A Great Clean example with the Classic / Original Fleur de Leigh style Chequering Pattern. This with no real blemish or mark to detail and FAR from inexpensive when new. Last one I had in went for circa £1100 about 12 years ago!
Just GREAT guns and this IS a very nice example. The company has been through some seriously turbulent times over the last decade and more. HOPEFULLY things are continuing to improve and they will regain their standing as one of the best modern manufacturers around.
