PARKER HALE RBN1 SCOPE RINGS.

Original and very scarce Parker Hale scope rings detailed RBN1. These fit a dovetail approx. 13 – 17mm wide and a ¾” scope tube body. As can be seen, one is in need of a repaint with some enamel type  finish. I assume it was left lying in some form of moisture or fluid that caused the original finish to end up as shown. This is how I found them but even so they ARE so few and far between they were still worth the money.

GENERAL NOTES TO BEAR IN MIND PLEASE:

These and other small items of equipment detailed can range from easy to just about impossible to find.

BEFORE you fall over from the ‘shock’ PLEASE bear in mind the time it takes to DO THE FOLLOWING:  Source. Clean. Possibly repair or replace parts. Prepare. Label. Photograph. Down load. Cut. Crop and make good images. Along with everything else involved to actually detail them here for sale.

Prices

Generally go nowhere even close to covering this time, effort and expense. (The main reason you will see very few, if any, other dealers bothering with things like this).

I often say there are far too many places selling guns and not enough GUN SHOPS. I stand by that statement. Listing things like this should convey I do this for the love of the sport and to HELP customers. I DO also expect to see a small return for the effort.

They not only reflect the condition of each item, good or not so good (in the odd case). They also reflect the rarity and WORK involved. I consider them all excellent value for what they are. If you do not then please don’t waste either of our time.

All I ask is that you bear these few factors in mind before asking about ‘best prices’ or discounts etc.

My ‘BEST’ prices would an additional £200 so please think before you ask!

Also please note that when I detail a measurement they are as close I can reasonably tell. Dovetails are measured at their WIDEST point on the base.

ADVICE?

Last point to make is that it actually makes a lot more sense to invest in QUALITY scope mounts. If you have spent a small fortune on a scope you should it performs to its greatest potential. At the same time causing no damage. Poor performance and awful marks on tubes from nasty, cheap, ill-fitting mounts ALWAYS makes me ‘smile’. In reality actually ‘cry’ at the stupidity. People with scopes of well in excess of £1000 set into £19.99 TRASH!

My advice?…… DO NOT penny pinch on your mounts.
