Parker Hale Model T4 Enfield Conversion in 7.62x 51 NATO calibre Bolt Action Rifle.
26” (660mm) Barrel with a stock pull at 13” (330mm). That finishes the rifle at 44 7/8” (1140mm) long tipping in at 9 Lbs 1 ½ oz (4.128 Kg).
A nice and clean enough example of this Classic and now Vintage Long Range Target Rifle. That said, PERFECTLY GOOD and more than acceptable for stalking.
The gun came in and is for sale as a ‘bare’ rifle ONLY.
I have ADDED a traditional rear Dioptre Target Peep Sight for ILLUSTRATION ONLY. This can be supplied with the rifle at a reduced rate and the Front Element Dovetail is already fitted. OR the Action Drilled and Tapped to accept a suitable Scope Mount. I generally carry both options in stock so no great problem.
Sadly the Detachable Magazine has a couple of serial number stamps that do not match. However this is not an uncommon feature on these converted service rifles. Stock actually has some Nice Pattern and Contrast but is currently quite a dark finish, especially compared to the forend. Refinished a little lighter and it would look a LOT prettier and be quite a bonny rifle.
