Parker Hale Model TX1200 Heavy Barrel Bolt Action Target Rifle in 7.62 x 51 ‘Nato’ calibre.
Excellent condition throughout with a good clear bore. Detailed as Rifle No2 this is part of a consignment from Lothian and Borders Police Rifle Club. (I will say it DOES look well cared for over the years).
Standard, Original Spec. 23 ½” (597mm) barrel with recessed crown. The dark Stained original Varnish finished Beech Stock also retains the original PH inch (25mm) Recoil pad. Producing a current pull length of 13 5/8” (345mm). This has a ‘fixed point’ Accessory rail running along the heavy profile forend with perhaps 16 screw in points.
I will have various options in the accessories available to supply too. Bases and rings canbe supplied for a scope. Alternatively the correct Parker Hale rear Dioptre sight will be in stock if preferred. The Foresight Element dovetail to the muzzle is in place or can be removed. Grub screws will be fitted to block the holes etc. 44 ½” (1125mm) overall and weighs in as it appears at 10 Lbs 8 oz. (4.762 Kg.).
