Bolt Action .243 Rifle from Krico in Germany. Always BEAUTIFULLY made guns with Excellent design and HIGH Quality Materials and Finish.
23 ½” (597mm) Barrel and a 13 ½” Pull bring in an overall length of 43 3/8” (1103mm). Weight of the bare rifle is an EASILY carriable all day ½ oz short of 7 Lbs dead (3.161 Kg).
Decorative and Hogs Back style Walnut Stock with Raised Cheek Rest and ½” Recoil Pad. Chequering is still Very Clean and Crisp too. A few light blemishes from use but little that steam or boiling water would not lift out. I ALWAYS feel like I have something Elegant in my hands each time I wrap my fingers around one of these guns. They just have that little additional Finesse and the Bolt Handles are RIDICULOUSLY Fine.
Contour of the back of the bolt is a Perfect match to the rear of the Action and both work together beautifully. The Bolt Shaft itself is Jewel Machined which is ALWAYS a nice touch and never really done on most guns. Costs too much in time and effort. It shows little sign AT ALL of much use. Cocking indicator is also present as a small Red pin that protrudes from the back of the bolt so EASILY seen and checked. All metal work finished in a Seriously DEEP and Lustrous Blue.
