Classic Fredrich Wilh. Heym, Model SR20G, Bolt Action Rifle in the even more Classic .375 Holland & Holland. ALWAYS WELL Sought after Rifles in any calibre by Riflemen wanting something more traditional. Also YES, BEFORE anyone gets in touch, the Rifle IS detailed with a ‘G’ model. NOT the more usual ‘L’ designation.
A 25 ½” (647mm) Barrel set to a 14” (355mm) Stock Trigger Pull. Together they bring in an overall length of 46 5/8” (1185mm) and a bare weight of 7 Lb 11 ¼ oz (3.493 Kg).
Fully Jewelled / Engine Turned Bolt with Low Level Side Safety and built in Cocking indicator. Metal work is close to as new and that included the Bolt Knob too. Usually, the first place to show any evidence of use so far. Equally, as so many Big Bore Rifles they never do see THAT much shooting from the bulk of owners. It’s not something to spend a day on the range with. Or likely to see any more than a single shot away when actually used. Maybe a second by way of a follow up for final dispatch.
A Strong Straight Grained Stock with Raised Cheek Rest. Dark Colour Contrast in Tightly Packed Slow Grown Walnut. Slower a tree grows it generally means a denser and as such stronger timber. It also features a Nice Palm Swell Grip with all Checkering still in Crisp condition. Finishing with Rosewood Schnable For-end Tip and Grip Cap.
Fixed Iron / Open Sights with the rear Windage Adjustable. Barrel mounted Sling point too.
