All Black Synthetic stocked CZ 455 ‘Silhouette’ .22 Rim-Fire Bolt Action Rifle. One farmer owner since brand new. He tells me only ever used for humane dispatching sick / injured sheep, lambs and pigs. Never for target, plinking or pest control. He just does not have time for anything like that. As such the estimated shot count is well below 100 rounds.
Now, while I cannot confirm that the metal work IS CLEAN. Inside and out. I put a jag through and that came out almost unmarked. Given the stock was a long way from immaculate I fail to believe there was much of any cleaning going on. As such, his declaration of shots so far is likely 100% accurate. Anyone with decent rabbit shooting could easily double the shot count on the first night out!
There are a few minor stock marks with only one worth detailing. That is a bit of a relatively deep scratch to the top R/H side at the back. Other than that it appears to have an Anti-Slip ‘Rubberized’ finish. Certainly a ‘dry tacky’ feel to help maintain a sure grip even if wet etc.
An almost ‘proper’ .22 ‘LR / Long Rifle’ with 20 ½” Barrel, Factory Screw Cut standard ½” x 20 UNF. Stock pull measures to 13 ¾” (350mm) and brings in an overall length of 38 ¾” (985mm). Scales trip at 6 Lb and ¾ oz (2.740Kg). Supplied with 10 round detachable magazine as pictured.
Trigger upgrades for these rifles are CHEAP and easy enough to install. Not that there is anything wrong with this as is. However, personally I WOULD if I were buying.
