Heavy Varmint Barrel CZ 452-2E-ZKM Bolt Action Rifle in .17 Mach II / Mach 2. The cartridge is circa 300 ft/sec slower than the more common HMR version but this has been around a LOT longer. The ammunition is also around 50% cheaper! Quite HOW the numbers of people got ‘suckered’ into the HMR craze comes down to one factor: Marketing. There is nothing on the planet that can outrun either round! It is also much kinder on the barrel.
Yet another the ‘experts’ in the press could do with re-discovering to make more people aware!
20 ¾” (525mm) Heavy weight Varmint barrel, factory threaded at a standard ½”x20 UNF. Ready to accept whatever suitable sound moderator you want. PLENTY of options and ammunition readily available here too. Stock length offers up a Trigger pull at 13 ½” (343mm) and brings in an overall length of 39”. (990mm). Scales tipping out at 7 Lb 3 ¾ oz (3.28 Kg).
Standard width dovetail to the action as usual. After-market trigger upgrade kits also out there for not a lot of money IF you think you need one. Easily fitted too other than marginally fiddly with big fingers!
Happy to put a full package together to include any and all accessories you might need. From a sling, all the way through to thermal scope. Fitted and ready to go.
