15 Shot TUBULAR Magazine Bolt Action BSA Sportsman 15 Rifle. Generally never bothered with these days as people seem to think they can’t be up to much. My response is that things do not last this long if they are anything other than SPOT ON. This came in exactly as is and can go out the same way with the original Parker Hale PH 16 Dioptre Target Sight fitted. Again, just as accurate as a scope with a little practice ….if not then why do International Target shooters use them?
Ordinarily I would not bother but this IS in nice enough to excellent condition. Its almost criminal to just scrap it for bits.
25” (635mm) Barrel set to a stock pull of 13 3/8” (340mm). Overall is measures a straight 43” (1093mm) and, as pictured, tips the scales at 5 Lbs 13 oz (2.640 Kg).
A TRUE British Classic and its day considered to be the ‘Rolls Royce’ Rabbit Basher. The additional 5 to 10 rounds capacity to the usual 5 and rarer 10 shot alternatives. Also the tubular magazine is almost impossible to loose and all but idiot proof.
A few minimal blemishes to the woodwork and that’s it. Yes, I KNOW its old, but it is still perfectly good to use. It will, no doubt, be as accurate as most pulling the trigger.
