YES, EVEN BSA produced a .22 Rim-Fire Semi-Automatic Rifle and named it The Armatic. No nothing hugely special or particularly massively desirable but they are what they are. Its NOT a lot of money for a Very Early example and still in Generally Excellent Overall Condition. Especially given how old this will actually be. However, as many shooters discover ‘OLD’ OFTEN means surprisingly GOOD.
20 ½” (520mm) Barrel set to a Stock Pull Length of 13 ¾” 350mm). Overall the gun measures to a Max. of 41 3/8” (1050mm) to its longest points. That’s right down to the bottom of the butt plate from the muzzle. Scales show a Super Light Weigh at only 4 lbs 14 ½ oz. (2.224 Kg).
Detachable 10 Round Magazines and I currently DO have spares available. Action factory machined with a standard width Scope Mount Dovetail and it still retains its original open / iron sights. Manual Safety set to the R/H side and Top of the Trigger Guard. Relatively easy to use with either hand too. So, given the stock IS completely Ambidextrous, I am advertising it as such.
Stock itself is now a Nice Golden Brown with the Original Finish mellowing very nicely as time passed.
A DISTINCT possible contender for anyone in to or wanting to start. Especially with the current trend of vintage rifle shooting competition AND over open sights. Even Speed shooting disciplines!
For this money its doing little more than paying for the advert!
