BSA Model 15 Martini Action .22 Rim Fire Single Shot Target Rifle. Barrel is actually detailed as .220 LONG RIFLE and finishes up at 29” (737mm) with the usual BSA ‘Piled Arms’ logo and Rg No. 755644 stamped to the action. At 44” (1119mm) overall the rifle weighs in at 9lbs 4oz (4.2 Kg) and comes with a 13 ½” (345mm) length of pull to a plain but functional stock with a large raised cheek piece. Set into the forend is a full length flush accessory dovetail rail. The only real sign of any use is to the blueing to the under lever which is now more patination than blued.
Perhaps the most interesting feature on these rifles is the built in to the action Micro Adjustable Dioptre Target Sight. Most rifles like this generally come with an after-market version, usually from Parker Hale. Research suggests that these ware loose over time but in reality, unless you are constantly adjusting (which you should NOT really need to, once set) there is a lifetimes shooting and more left in it.
