Bergara’s advanced expertise in engineering now has two distinct shooting platforms combined. The result is a rifle that provides most if not all of the attributes any shooter might want. Hunting, carrying out pest control, serious competition shooting or simply plinking these will perform at all levels. The B15R is made to perform exceptionally well in any and is specifically designed for long range rimfire shooting. The push-feed action incorporates dual extractors along with a full-size detachable magazine.
With the design based on a full sized Remington 700 footprint this is a TRUE rimfire ‘trainer’. It will accept many after-market components including stocks, triggers, and mounts etc. That allows shooters to have a rifle of similar size and feel to their centrefire. Set up as a clone it will offer the best possible training option to practice with and reduce ammunition costs
The ‘technical’ spec. is as follows:
A .22 LR Rimfire action with a single stack magazine housed within a standard short action AICS mag to work with the Rem 700 foot print.
The 4140 Bergara barrel is 18″long, it is completely free floating and comes with a 1:16 Twist.
The B14R stock even has integral mini-chassis permanently moulded in place. This maintains the barrel possition and also keeps the action firmly in place. That is to guarantee consistent results and keep the rifle on target.
Integrated OD flush cup sling mounts and swivels make fitting a sling easy too. The stock is fully adjustable and is quickly adjusted to a perfect fit. All of this to ensure the best possible experience.
