Basically AS NEW without actually being Brand New Bergara B13 Single Shot Break Action Rifle in .243. I sold this to the previous owner and it was back 3 months to the day to swap out for the exact some in .308.
As such it had been zeroed in, shot 3 deer, 1 fox and still had 8 rounds of ammunition from the first box of ammunition. ALL of the Bergara range just SUPERBLY ACCURATE and REMARKABLE value for money. He was THAT impressed with the rifle and also got additional stalking with Red and Fallow. As such decided to trade this back in for a heavier calibre as detailed. Basically its like a car with an additional 30 yards delivery mileage over usual!
That was also at the start of the year so Roe Does only plus pregnant. Just ask yourself how many times you get out at that time of year. Especially given weather conditions the last few years! THEN how often do you actually get a shot off? As said, this has done little more that factory test fires.
20” (508mm) FLUTED Semi-Heavy Profile Barrel factory screw cut at 5/8×24 TPI UneF. Stock pull offers up a decent 14 ¼” (363mm) and brings the overall length in at a compact 35 1/8” (892mm). IT IS the TAKE DOWN VERSION too so strips apart exactly the same as a double barrel shotgun. Release the forend and the barrel pivots away from the action. EXTREMELY compact and discreet and easily fits into a ruck sack etc. for out of sight transport. AMBIDEXTROUS to use and Black Synthetic stock with deep cut chequering to the grip areas for minimal slippage. Even in extreme weather or cold. Sling studs as standard and the rifle comes with a Picatiny Rail already fitted. Ready to take any sight you wish. The bare rifle tips in at 6 Lbs 14 ¼ oz (3.127 Kg).
The Spur to the cocking handle is also easy to swap over for left hand operation too.
