A classic 12g Side by Side No.4 Box Lock Ejector from AYA in Spain. These guns offer SUPERB value. Models are available from a basic Box Lock None Ejector through to the Highest Quality Hand Built No1 Sidelocks. ALL are basically direct copies of best English guns and at a fraction of the price.
NOW, to TRY and help speed up availability I WILL also suggest that YOU pass on details to everyone you know who shoots. Then ALL of us start to ask whoever we buy from why they are not DEMANDING cartridges made in this material? Basically VOTE with your WALLET.
YES, it will take a little time for everything to filter through but patience IS a virtue. It also allows everyone who wants to keep hold of their ‘old favourite’ for the rest of their lives. Even pass it on to the next generation and hopefully beyond!
On that note I AM looking into the possibility of stocking some direct from Steve at Hortons. RING for an update and keep checking the web site.
This has longer than many 28 ½” (713mm) fixed choke barrels at ½ and ¾. Chambers are standard 2 ¾” (70mm). The action sides still retain almost 100% of the original Case Hardening Colour but the blacked base is clean. A previous owner has obviously had it sat in the palm of their hand. It is also just about plain below the colour with minimal engraving other than the makers name. As with most of these guns it features removable striker plate discs. A feature rarely found on anything but the best guns money can buy.
The stock finishes at a 14 ¾” (375mm) pull giving an overall length to the gun at 43 3/8” (1104mm). This is well figured with little cast at all and may well suit being shot from either shoulder. It tips the scales at 6 Lbs 9 ½ oz (2.985 Kg). £449.99
