BSA Martini Action .22 Rim Fire, Hand Finished by A.J. Parker as a Long Range ‘Deluxe’ Model Target Rifle. LONG 29” (735mm)! Barrel set to a Stock pull length of 14 ¼” (363mm). Overall it measures 44 5/8” (1135mm) and weighs in at a Solid 9 Lbs 5 ½ oz (4.245 Kg) as pictured. (With original Dioptre Target Sights).
NO REAL idea quite what the exact history is with this particular rifle. As detailed the ACTION is an original BSA Martini Stamped with the usual BSA and piled Arms Logo. Nicely set into a Decorative Oval Border.
Barrel actually has a Flat Cross File Cut near Full Length Sighting Rib approx. 7/16” (10mm) wide. This eliminates ANY glare or light ‘bounce’ from the barrel so easier on your eye when in use. To the very rear portion this slopes back down toward the Action. On this small flat the BSA Piled Arms Logo is once again present. The action is similarly finished at the front too and on this sloped ‘flat’ A.J. PARKER, BIRMINGHAM.
Walnut Stock and Forend. The latter with slightly over-sized / bulbous Schnable Style Tip and Heavy Duty Target Sling Stud. A Nice Strong Straight Grain Stock, Good Colour Contrast with Raised and Fielded Chhek Rest.
This can come as pictured to include the original Dioptre Target Sights or just bare to fit a scope. As is the sights match the AJ Parker build with its original Model 7 Body, 6 Hole Eye Piece and Front Element Holder. The usual Brass spare elements holder fixed to the bottom of the forend. Currently empty but happy to include a selection.
