Bear in mind, production for these rifles on these actions lasted a GRAND TOTAL of 2 YEARS ONLY. 2005 – 2007 and ONLY 3 calibre choices too. Apparently also INSANELY ACCURATE from what research I have done. Credit given in good part to its Solid Bottomed Action / Receiver. Also, Remington’s externally accessible and Adjustable 40-XB Trigger.
25 ½” (650mm) Varmint / Heavy / Target Barrel Screw Cut at 18x1mm Metric. If you want a matching Sound Moderator I do have suitable options at time of listing. Equally, easy enough to order in something specific / brand new if preferred.
Grey / Green (ish) Right-Handed Thumb Hole Laminated Stock. 13 ½” (343mm) pull given an Overall length of 44 ¾” (1137mm). Scales trip out at an once over 10 lb dead (4.567 Kg) bare weight. Ventilated For end too.
Apparently the XR100 action is usually used by Remington for Pistols. Looking at it there is very little actual difference from a standard 700. However, they are shorter as is the rear action bridge. Scope mount screw holes at way closer centres than normal. Don’t ‘worry’ about mounts. Given the calibre has just about zero recoil, even without a moderator, standard Remington mounts will suffice. Just 3 screws instead of 4. But, as said, for what recoil this has 3 out of 4 screws will be way more than enough.
This IS also a Single Shot capacity rifle too. As in no magazine, fixed or detachable. Given the apparent accuracy that should prove no problem at all if you do your part properly.
APPEARS TO BE IN GENERALLY EXCELLENT CONDITION THROUGHOUT. BOTH INSIDE AND OUT.
