The Muzzle still in it’s original spec. too so not screw cut (thankfully). The stock offering a current pull at 13 ½” (343mm), finishing the Overall length of 43 7/8” (1115mm). As pictured, the bare weight tipping in at 8 lb 13 ½ oz (4.010 Kg).
Always an age-old favourite from the Remington Range and this also in THE Most Versatile Calibre Ever invented. Bullet Head choice can range from a Super Light Weight 70 Grain. All the way through to a THUMPING 220 Gr. Admittedly, the lighter options will likely need to be home loaded. However, should exceed 3000 ft / sec velocities and offer up a superb trajectory. OR, simply stick to something more standard and buy a matching rifle in .223 for lighter bullet weights?
Looking at the Bolt Knob, it shows minimal use to date. Still Good Original factory colour in place to the checkered finish. Also, to the Main Shaft retains the bulk of its original finish too. Generally, pretty clean inside and out this should offer up many years of great shooting still to come.
