Australian made .22 Rim-Fire Bolt Action LA101 Crossover Rifle from Lithgow Arms. This company supplies Military Clients from around the world. Often at the ‘expense’ of keeping civilian markets in stock. They also HAVE and MUST KEEP seriously high standards throughout. Not only for build quality but longevity, ease of use and serious ACCURACY.
Over the years I have actually sold a few of these. Mainly to customers no longer willing to pay 3 and 4 times the price for certain German made target rifles. No one has come back with anything other than 100% praise. Stating their new rifle is every bit as accurate as dedicated target options. I just pass on the information. You can take it in or not.
Standard 20 5/8″ (525mm) Barrel, Factory Screw Cut a standard 1/2″ x 20 TPi UNF thread. All ready for a sound moderator of choice (and PLENTY new or pre-used options in stock). Trigger pull / Stock measures to 13″ (330mm) and brings in an overall length of 38 1/2″ (978mm). The bare rifle (with bases showing) weighs in at 6 Lb 10 ½ oz (3.026 Kg).
All metalwork is finished in a light Grey Cerakote. Circa 180 times more corrosion resistant than stainless steel. High Impact Resistant Black Polymer Stock. You can also have a second high-capacity magazine and scope mounts in with the gun too. Inch or 30mm. As for a scope, bi-pod, sling, slip or anything else there is a BIG selection to choose from too.
New, these rifles are close enough to £1000 as not to worry.
