WINCHESTER .22 RIMFIRE MODEL 320 BOLT ACTION RIFLE.
Been busy searching out yet another ‘ sleeper ‘ !
Produced between 1972 and 74 this is in just about immaculate condition for a rifle now over 40 years old.
Winchester model 320 Bolt Action .22 rim fire.
The barrel stamped .22 S L or LR. Design and manufacture of barrel, action and bolt was all done by the man who founded Kimber Rifles in Australia. Everything then sent to the US to be stocked and finished by Winchester. The ONLY references I can find are all from State side sites. They also suggest these rifles were mainly sold over there too. That makes this a very rare little rifle (and even more so in this condition).
The action is dovetailed to take standard style scope rings. It is also drilled ready for a Micro adjustable Target style ( Parker Hale 16 ) aperture site.
Stock is in excellent condition and also has some very nice highlights and grain.
Its CERTAINLY a rifle for anyone out there who wants to be different. Or anyone who wants to own and shoot a small piece of Winchester and gun history.
