Vintage and Collectable Model 69 Winchester Bolt Action rifle in .22 rim fire. The original finish long gone on this old rifle. Replaced by honest patination end to end on the metal work.
A beautifully clean bore to the 25” (635mm) barrel, threaded a standard ½” UNF to take a sound moderator. The stock has a good grain pattern and finishes at a 13 ½” (343mm) pull. Overall the rifle finishes off at 42” (1067mm) long and 7lbs 4 oz.
In reality a ‘monster’ when compared with the usual things available these days! Even though the muzzle is pre-threaded the front bead is still intact. The original rear open sight is a great little example. A fully windage and elevation adjustable peep sight set into a cross barrel dovetail. Original 5 round detachable magazine held in place with the push button release. All ‘high end’ innovations when these rifles were produced. Integrated to the back of the bolt the safety simply pulls back and twists etc.
