SAUER MODEL 202 LEFT HANDED BLACK SYNTHETIC .243 BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

TRUE Left Handed Sauer Model 202 Black Synthetic Bolt Action .243 Calibre Rifle. Sadly now back in and for sale as previous owner has legitimate health issues of neck bone degeneration! That after a quite serious bike accident and a BADLY damaged right hand and arm. Told by his consultant to ‘cease and desist’ if he wants to keep the use of arms and legs for as long as possible! NOT the kind of news anyone wants.

However, ‘every cloud’ as the saying goes. As such you get opportunity to own a little used Lightweight Black Synthetic TRUE Left Handed Bolt / Operation GREAT Rifle from Sauer, Germany. Amongst some of the best available when new and Certainly still holds the same position against anything new today. I have a Right Handed even earlier ‘200’ option with Oak Leaf Engraved Action and its ALWAYS been a GREAT gun.

22 ¼” (565mm) Barrel already screw cut with 14x1mm Metric Thread. All ready for a suitable sound moderator and likely several readily available in stock to choose from. Brand New as well as Pre-used. Stock pull is a straight 14” (355mm) and together brings in an overall length of 42 1/4” (1073mm). Bare rifle tips the scales at 7 Lbs 12 oz.

Detachable Magazine and Flush Inlet Sling Points ready to take the ‘push button’ quick attach / release Swivels. Although the Bolt IS 100% Left Hand format the stock grip does still have a palm swell to suit a right handed hold. Other than that small feature the stock is Fully Ambidextrous. This is also one of the older 202 models with what most Sauer enthusiasts consider the better safety. A Push Vertically Down Top Tang Mounted pin puts the gun into SAFE position. The ‘release’ positioned within the trigger guard just forward of the trigger itself. Push that up at point of shot and the top half re-emerges to show a Red ‘Safety off / Ready to fire band indicator. Just push back down to return to safe. Also fitted with a Set or Hair Fully Adjustable Trigger. EASY to disengage if set and the shot opportunity vanishes. Simply push the safety back DOWN then gently squeeze and hold the trigger back to its normal state. Alternatively simply adjust the feature out of play completely. Quite WHY though always surprises me. Learn the simple basic safe use and see shot placement usually improve a LOT.

In reality the rifle has seen little use. It was purchased brand new after accident the medical diagnosis. Needed a new hobby as bikes were no longer an option. The stock does have a few light marks and very minor scratches. That said, you do have to LOOK for them so not bad at all.

For those who do not yet know these rifles are also barrel EASILY interchangeable for other additional calibre choices. That said, admittedly no longer made so choice is generally limited. I DO have alternative calibres in stock. Not least of which would be any other Sauer 200 / 202 rifle advertised. I can easily swap the barrels etc. and re-do whatever advert.
