Sako 75 IV Action 25-06 Calibre Bolt Action Rifle from this Iconic Finish maker. NOT the Key-Lock Bolt version Thankfully.
Original Plain, Unsighted and Un-threaded 22 ¾” (580mm) Barrel. Triple Lugged Bolt. Detachable Magazine.
Stock pull is approx. 14 1/8” (360mm) and overall the rifle measures 43 ½” (1105mm) total. Weighs in at 8 Lbs 5 ½ oz (3.785 Kg).
Decorative Stock with some Great Grain Pattern and Highlights. The usual Palm Swell to the grip and all chequering is still clean and sharp. Blueing is all but as it left the factory. Even the Bolt knob shows minimal use.
Please do not believe the rubbish posted on line about ‘too hot a round / barrels shoot out’ etc. I shot a Tikka (with a stunning stock) for many years and it never failed me. This calibre, like the majority of others will last the average rifleman several generations. Just like every other, as long as standard / factory loads are used. It offers a bullet range up to 120 grains and feels like shooting a .243 but with a .270 case behind it. They DO ‘scoot along’.
