SAKO .243 BOLT ACTION RIFLE
YET AGAIN I have managed to track down, uncover and secure yet another SUPERB ‘SLEEPER’ as well as VINTAGE SAKO. Not only that but this time there are two from the same source. There is also a classic little .223 ( on 579 Action) getting listed too!
Two CLASSIC rifles in two CLASSIC calibres from a classic manufacturer on CLASSIC (and both much sought after) actions! The bolt operation on both rifles is simply superb and a testament to the quality of these older rifles. Certainly from a time when profit was not GOD.
This is full original DELUXE VERSION format with 23” none threaded barrel. It has an unblemished HIGH gloss finished 13 3/4” pull WELL FIGURED and VERY pretty stock, still with the original Sako logo recoil pad. With this HIGHEST GRADE model you not only got the better quality Walnut but they also came with the Rosewood forend and grip cap. They also feature the magazine floor plate with the Antelope motif as well as the ‘Oak Leaf’ inlay to the grip cap.
AGAIN, Absolute MINIMAL signs of use …even it was six months old, let alone this vintage and if possible in even cleaner condition than the .223!
AN EXCEPTIONALLY STUNNING EXAMPLE and certainly a collectors piece as well as perfectly useable rifle so the very best of both worlds.
YOU WILL NOT FIND A FINER EXAMPLE. YES, not an inexpensive asking price BUT this is BETTER THAN NEW and extremely RARE.
