Parker Hale TX1200 Bolt Action Target Rifle in 7.62 x 51 Nato. As pictured this weighs in at a total of 10 Lbs 14 ½ oz (4.943 Kg). It IS actually heavier than a standard example due to the extra barrel length. Normal examples are specified at 23 ½” (597mm).
This comes with an Original 26” (660mm) Parker Hale barrel. Still in excellent condition and matching the rest of the rifle. A current Stock pull of 13 ¾” (348mm) including the inch (25mm) recoil pad bring the overall length to 46 5/8” (1185mm).
Still taped to the stock are the elevation details required to adjust from 200 to 600 yards. The original finish to the metal work is in 95% plus condition, even the Bolt Handle. Other than very minor flakes to the original stained varnish finish the timber is in near matching condition. Even those are mainly to the tip of the forend. All in all the rifle cannot have been used to any real degree. There is simply just not enough evidence to conclude anything else.
As shown the rifle CAN come supplied complete with its original Parker Hale Micro Adjustable Rear Dioptre Target Sight and Front Element Holder (this would be BY NEGOTIATION and in addition to the price of the bare rifle as advertised). Equally it may well be that you do not want or require the old style target sights and much prefer to mount a scope, hence the rifle is priced accordingly and on its own as a start point. The Forend is also pre-drilled to the nose to accept the Bench Rest Wire Bi-pod.
