CLASSIC Parker Hale Model 1100 African Magnum Bolt Action Rifle in the equally CLASSIC Safari / Dangerous game .375 Holland and Holland Calibre.
Full Length 24” (610mm) barrel. This one pre-threaded in 14x1mm Metric ready to take a Sound Moderator or Muzzle Break and make things EASY. The original open / iron sights still in place with the action drilled and tapped for scope mounts. An unusual lighter coloured Maple Walnut (?) stock with Pull length at 13 ¾” (350mm). This has some Nice Figure and Grain pattern. The rifle / stock has THREE fixing points and also features TWIN Recoil Cross Bolts for additional strength. Overall length of 44 7/8” (1140mm) and a bare weight of 8 Lbs 9 ½ oz (3.898 Kg).
At this money it makes an EXTREMELY INEXPENSIVE HEAVY DUTY Rifle. Driven Game / Wild Boar throughout mainland Europe and beyond or Africa and everything that land has to offer.
Metalwork is finished in a Matt blue and the bore is good. Just like most rifles like this as they seldom get much use for most owners. Bear in mind the company also ceased trading a LONG time ago. The stock / woodwork is in the same generally excellent condition considering age and it is used.
