Model 1200 Deluxe Bolt Action .243 Rifle from Parker Hale England. 23 ½” (598mm) barrel in original condition still retaining the original open / iron sights. Flip up adjustable rear ‘V’ sight with matching Front Bead to the muzzle. NO doubt causing considerable consternation and confusion with most shooters of today. Quite HOW they think anyone managed without a 24x and higher power illuminated reticle. Built in thermal, bullet drop compensating, range finding 40mm tubed scope is beyond me. But there we go.
14” (355mm) Stock finishes the rifle at 44 ½” (1130mm) total length and a bare weight of 7 Lbs 11 oz (3.484 Kg).
This can be threaded for a sound moderator in our own on site workshop if required and at a reduced rate. Plenty of moderators in stock to choose from too.
Rosewood Forend Tip and Grip Cap to the relatively plain but strong straight grain stock. However quite a few people do much prefer a stock like this. Far less worry about ending up with the smallest blemish on an exhibition grade example. Gold washed trigger and a Hinged Magazine Floor Plate Embossed with Scroll Work and the usual Rams Head image.
DO also please bear in mind I have sold the same brand / calibre rifle in MUCH worse condition that would slot 3 rounds under a 1p piece at 100 yards. In the last couple of weeks a BSA .270 of the same era went out and shoots touching groups at 100 yards. You really do NOT need to spend a fortune to get accuracy THAT GOOD.
