This is an absolute little gem of a rifle. From a ‘golden period’ of production when everything was settled and running super smoothly. Barrel stamped Newhaven Conn. USA Micro Grooved etc. and serial number dates it as 1982 production. What I would say is a Maple Walnut stock from a time before the ‘Diamond Pattern’ chequering model became available. The action is pre drilled for a scope base etc. too. Action is still nice and slick and the entire gun is in generally excellent condition. Especially considering it is now getting on to 35 years old.
VERY difficult to find in .357 these days from any period and I am seriously fed up waiting for any new guns to filter through from the manufacturers / importer etc. I have three new on back order so one of those customers may well grab this one but it’s here for the first person with desire to buy it!
IF YOU WANT I ACTUALLY HAVE A SET OF BRAND NEW ‘DIAMOND PATTERN’ CHEQUERED WOODWORK that could be swapped out (for an agreed fee on top of the rifle price) but personally I prefer the rifle in its full original form.
