Generally EXCELLENT Condition No2 MK IV Lee Enfield Bolt Action .22 Rim Fire Military Training Rifle. 25 ¼” (642mm) Barrel to a 13 ¾” Stock pull bringing in an overall length of 45” Dead (1142mm). Scales tip in at a Solid 10 Lbs 4 oz (4.65 Kg) as pictured.
Currently a Single shot example. 100% POSITIVE there will be some 10 Round options sat in a drawer / somewhere, doing nothing but collecting dust. PLEASE DO get in touch if you have one or more. It would be wonderful to put the two together. These rifles are Extremely Rare these days and getting more so as time ticks by.
The right hand of the Action Band detailed with a Trio of Lions, R.F.I. 1930 and No2 MK4. There is a small repair to a crack to the bottom of the right hand side of forend but this is OLD and has been in place a long time without issue. Also, it’s not like there is any recoil at all to factor in so just an ‘honest’ sign of age on a rifle over 90 years old. I doubt I will last that long let alone be in anywhere remotely close condition.
Stock is lightly stamped on the left with an ‘S’ and ‘A’ either side of an arrow head / crows foot. To the right a painted No. 2. The Original Enfield Open Battle Sights still in place. Also the Parker CHC 3 Bracket and BSA Fold Up / Down Dioptre Target Sight and Standard 6 Hole Eyepiece. Matching Heavy Duty military webbing Sling just completes the whole thing.
At the time of listing I actually have TWO of these Exceptionally Rare Military Training Rifles in stock. Each one has individual features and merits over the other. First person to get in touch and buy gets the dubious ‘pleasure’ of trying to pick between them as to their favourite! Good Luck on that task. Of course there IS a VERY easy option: Just buy them both…decision made.
This example is perhaps not quite as clean as the other. HOWEVER THIS DOES come with the Original BSA Fully Micro Adjustable Rear Dioptre Target Sight. Bear in mind I HAVE had a VERY SERIOUS offer for the sight alone at £450!
