LONG BRANCH 1955 Lee Enfield No 4 MK I .303 Bolt Action British Military Service Rifle.
Standard Spec. and Format with 25 1/8” (637mm) Barrel and 13” (330mm) Stock. Overall length finishing at 44 3/8” (1127mm) and tipping scales on 9Lb 4 oz (4.195 Kg) including the Webbing Sling.
Uniformly DARK Stained Beech Wood Timber. The usual Full Metal 10 round detachable magazine.
Currently sporting no rear sight option. HOWEVER, that is by design, so the final choice is yours. You can have a standard Parker Hale PH 21 rear scope base with single peep hole. OR a smaller option with TWO fixed range flip up / down rear peep sight. Alternatively, a Flip Up / Down Long-Range Ladder Peep Sight, with / without a single hole when laid flat. These come in a quick adjustment form or Micro ¼ MOA options. A dedicated Parker Hale Dioptre Target Sight with choice of eye piece. Then fitting a scope with a none-gunsmithing Picatinny / Weaver compatible Rail. These DO work perfectly well if fitted correctly too.
Lastly the front action can also be drilled and tapped to take a traditional PH 20 Base to match the rear PH21 etc.
At the time of listing, I DO have any and all options available.
Generally, just a good, honest example of this ICON of British Military HISTORY. Without these the world would be a totally different place. Also, NO reason why the rifle / calibre cannot be used on live quarry too. It will have accounted for more two as well as four legged ‘game’ than any other!
