AS NEW .17 HMR CZ 455 Varmint Barrel Laminate Thumbhole Bolt Action Rifle. Heavy / Varmint / Target profile 17” (430mm) barrel pre-screw cut to a standard ½” x 20 UNF. Triger pull measures 13 ¾” (350mm) and brings in an overall length of 35 1/8” (893mm). The scales register 6 Lbs 13 oz (3.092 Kg).
The rifle came in along with an Anschutz Walnut Thumbhole in .22 Rim Fire. Both purchased Brand New 2 Fire Arm Certificates ago. Just about NEVER actually used for a variety of reasons. Work / family commitments. Friends ‘promising’ opportunities and not coming up with them. Loss of permissions. The list went on. He renewed 5 years ago but this time around (Feb 2024) figured he could not be bothered so brought both in for sale.
Other than a cardboard box and a user manual these rifles are all but Brand New. A the very worst let’s say they have ‘delivery mileage’ and no more. They BOTH open up an opportunity for someone to save a small fortune on the equivalent in its box today. A box that generally either stays here or gets binned! GRAB A BARGAIN.
Brown Laminate Stock currently with Detachable 5 round magazine. 10 are easily sourced and purchased …. I will very likely have stock on the shelf. Adjustable trigger and basically in showroom condition. Admittedly the ‘MADNESS’ for this little calibre has subsided but it IS still Very Popular. Especially for Longer Range Pest and Vermin DESTRUCTION. They Certainly DO SMACK home and offer up a very flat trajectory over a fare range.
