Description

BSA CENTURY .22 RIM FIRE TARGET RIFLE.

.22 Rim Fire Bolt Action Heavy Barrel BSA Century Semi Target Rifle. Certainly an OLD gun but still in good enough condition to at least TRY and find it a new cabinet. If it is still here it presumably MUST still shoot well. If not it would have found the scrap bin long ago.

25 ¾” (653mm) Heavy Match Grade Target Barrel. 13 ¾” (348mm) Stock making the overall length 43 ½” (1105mm) and a weight of 8 Lbs 1 ½ oz. (3.669 Kg).

Set up to accept suitable dioptre style target sights. Or use the factory machined standard width dovetail to the action and simply drop on a scope of choice.

In reality a very bonny stock with a Strong Straight Grain and Excellent Contrasting Stripes.

Fully adjustable match grade trigger which has, for me, been set up beautifully. As such better quality and options than available on most rim fire available today outside dedicated target.

Forend fitted with a flush mounted accessory rail. You can take your pick between a single shot magazine insert or take a standard 5 round if preferred.

The barrel is also threaded a standard ½” x 20 UNF ready to accept a sound moderator. This will appeal to someone who wants longer range accuracy over the looks of a new gun. It will also save a LUMP on a new option too.

These are a Quite Rare little ‘Classic’ these days and never many about. Anyone shooting vintage target this is a Very inexpensive rifle for what you get. Anyone wanting a heavier pest control tool it offers up the exact same option.
