Brno Arms .222 Model ‘Fox’ Bolt Action Rifle.
As always, this has for MANY years and always will be a classic little cartridge. THANKFULLY once again rising in popularity, certainly with customers here. Around a dozen left here in the 4-6 weeks either side of Christmas.
Overall length on this rifle is 42” (1067mm) with a 23 ½” (597mm) Barrel pre-threaded in standard ½” x 20 UNF.
This is another higher option model with the fully adjustable double set / hair trigger. Once you get used to using one they can be a big help for consistent accuracy.
A detachable 5 round magazine also gives plenty of options. Higher capacity options are also available. …If you think you will ever be lucky / unlucky (depending on view) enough for more than 5 foxes to shoot. …In one field!
The 14 ¼” (362mm) pull stock is finished with a Rosewood forend tip and grip cap. It features a raised cheek piece too. Chequering is starting to wear. Otherwise the stock has little else but very minor marks, dents, dings or scratches throughout.
Blueing finish is also still very good throughout Even to the bolt handle so would suggest not that much actual use in the past.
A GREAT budget end rifle to get into fox control. Even for the seasoned shooter looking for a great gun at a great price.
I generally have a selection of pre used sound moderators in stock as well as any other equipment you might need. Happy to set up a full package deal to suit. Obviously anything new can be supplied too. 6Lbs 6oz (2.879Kg).
