Single Owner since Brand New .22 Rimfire Model 2 Bolt Action Rifle from Brno CZ (as far as I know. Its actually one of my now no longer here business partners rifles and dates back to 1977 production. Certainly WELL looked after and not shot excessively. Even back in the days when there were plenty of rabbits about. Most of which ended up done from a vehicle, hence the now SHORT barrel. Even with Sound Moderator fitted it’s still EASILY manageable to manoeuvre for a shot from either side.
Actually measures up to 12 5/8” (320mm) with a 14 ½” (367mm) pull. Bare rifle overall measures to only 31 3/8” (795mm) and tips scales at 5 lbs 5 oz (2.4 Kg).
This still works for walking around too as little to zero accuracy at sensible ranges was lost.
Not really a mark to detail to woodwork and / or metal and quite simply just GREAT rifles. They basically just go on for EVER with minimal fuss, cleaning or maintenance. No reason this could not still be around and shooting well 47 years on from now. Action comes with the usual standard width dovetail for scope mounting. Complete with after-market 10 round Detachable Magazine.
Stock could easily be Maple Walnut rather than darker coloured timber usually found. A Strong Straight Grain with some Nice Highlights crossing finishing with a Schnable Tip Forend.
