Traditional, OLD but will still be here in another 50 years and more .22 Rim Fire Bolt Action BRNO Model 2E Rifle. All it will need is even half way reasonable care.
Original Spec. 24 5/8” (625mm) barrel with open sights still in place. Stock pull is 13 7/8” (353mm) bringing in an overall length of 43 1/8” (1095mm). Scales tip out at 6 ½ Lbs exactly (2.95 Kg) for the bare rifle.
Certainly getting an unusual find these days still with everything in place but this was a single owner since brand new. Even more surprising is the fact that he is a High / Upper Tees Dale farmer. My only comment to that is I will happily bet the farm is a equally as well kept and a place of great pride. Seen a lot of guns from the same background and this is one of the best yet. Most leave a LOT to be desired!
Front bead is set to a dovetailed ramp and height adjustable, held in place with a small grub screw. Rear open ‘V’ complete with a push button quick adjustment lock and graduated from 25 to 200 yards.
A Highly Decorative Hogs Back Walnut Stock with some Excellent Grain Pattern and Colour Contrast. Especially for what the rifle is. Date of production detailed for 1984 so not too far from 40 years old and still going strong. My own example is a lump older and still shoots every bit as well as I can.
Threaded a standard ½”x20 TPI UNF.
