12G Over and Under Double Trigger None Ejector Box Lock ZH 301 BRNO Shotgun.
YES…a NONE EJECTOR….WOW!
HOWEVER…THIS ALSO WORKS AS A SINGLE TRIGGER GUN by using the rear trigger for both barrels….Actually Very cleverly and REALLY well made !
Guns like this are by far the best option for the vast majority. Most of the we ALL block the spent cartridges from flying out when we break a gun open. Lift the empty cases out of the chambers and drop them into the ‘used’ pocket. SO much easier than having to bend over and search the undergrowth. Especially when that is generally cold, wet and muddy to be scrabbling about in!
This is a model ZH301. It weighs in at 7lbs 6 1/2oz (3.36Kg) and comes with 27 5/8” (700mm) barrels. They are topped by a 9mm rib with fixed chokes at Full and Full. Ideal for anyone who wants to take shots at the limit of range with as tight a choke as possible. The gun has 2 ¾” (70mm) chambers and a treble point locking action finished in black. There is some embossed scroll work and forest scenes. A Roe deer to the left and flying pheasant to the right. The inch recoil pad fitted gives the overall pull length at 15 ½” (394mm). Fox / Skip cut chequering ALWAYS sets a stock off and this is near straight, possibly even slightly cast left. A manual safety incorporated in the trigger guard and ‘European / Continental’ style sling swivels finish the spec. off.
All in all these are actually very well engineered and equally well made. They are even designed with the option of swapping out barrels. I did have a spare set with fully ported muzzles, choked wide open with cylinder and cylinder. Basically designed for shooting solid slug at driven game or anything else! They have now sold.
