Bergara PREMIER Range Super Light Weight Mountain DBM Bolt Action Rifle with SUB ½ MOA GUARANTEE. This rifles test group shows a 0.44 inch group with standard ‘factory’ ammunition. Get the Adjustable Trigger set up to suit YOU and then get yourself ‘comfortable’ with the rifle. It has the potential for and to ‘same hole’ accuracy. I wont even go into taking the time hand loading a custom load. A same hole shot can only go to a 0.308 group anyway! …. OK not really as it would be a ‘zero’ MOA but you would be left with the actual hole etc.
Anyway, to the rifle itself: 22” Lightweight Sporting Profile NONE Screw Cut Grey Cerakote Finished Barrel and Action. Sitting into a RIGID Speckled Finish Mid Grey Synthetic Stock with a pull of 13 5/8” (345mm). Combined bringing in an Overall length of 41 ½” (1055mm) and ONLY 6 Lbs 4 ¼ oz (2.84 Kg). Carry it ALL day. Through woods, farmland, open hill and mountains and still be in a fit state to use it!
Currently supplied with Hinged Floor Plate Magazine though I generally do have Detachable conversion packs available. (Circa £120 / £145 fitted). Some prefer a detachable magazine BUT they DO get lost. At least with the rifle as is the worst that can happen is some lost ammo. that’s IF you do not hear it ‘tinkle out’ too. However, each to their own. The option is there. A LARGE Knurled Bolt Knob for seriously positive and no slip operation. Fluted Bolt Shaft and Cocking Indicator to the rear with a Superbly Slick slide to open and close. Fully adjustable trigger too.
This IS me actually TRYING to save one lucky rifle shooter a potential small fortune in time and money. Alternatively by all means get into buying and selling. Spending countless hours researching / looking about. On line as well as trawling shops. Yet more hours setting up scopes. More money test firing (and that time). OK, yes, it can be enjoyable and how most people go through their shooting lives. Me? I MUCH prefer to spend what time I do have to go shooting ACTUALLY shooting.
Even the basic / standard range of B13 Single Shot and B14 Bolt Action are Superbly accurate rifles. IF you do not know already the Premier Range are even better. After selection of the best Barrels, Bolts and Actions they are sent of to America to be Hand Finished. There WAS a time when supplies were near impossible because too many Yanks wanted each and every one for themselves. That alone should give indication as to JUST HOW GOOD the Premier Range are.
You will be Seriously LUCKY to get ANY better performance from ANYTHING. Even from the Very Best Hand Built ANYWHERE in the WORLD.
