Little used 12g Semi-Automatic Super Black Eagle MK II shotgun from Benelli, Italy. Amongst THE BEST of the best available. Specifically designed to work flawlessly with light through to the heaviest loads. Purchased from a customer who bought from a friend as a favour because he ‘never used it’ since brand new. Was also apparently losing his certificates too. He then ‘never used it’ as he prefers short guns! Also the bulk of his shooting is in the Upper Dales clearing rabbits. By his own admission: No longer keen on having to bend over and rummage about undergrowth picking up spent cases. (Past the age of that being ‘fun’)! Especially when busy watching what anything shot was doing and not said case flying away. As such, taking far too long finding them (never mind his back). Again, in his own words: ‘It’s a bit of a bugger this getting old lark’.
In reality anyone who has done similar WILL understand. These ARE guns PERFECTLY suited to shooting clays as well as live quarry. However, probably best when in one place. As in stood at a clay ground stand, at a shooting peg or in a hide etc. Somewhere any and all ejected cases are within a set radius so easily collected once finished for the day.
27 ½” (700mm) Multi Choke Barrel complete with 4 Chokes, Key, All Stock Adjustment Shims and original Paperwork. SUPER MAGNUM Chambered at 3 ½” (89mm). So happy with anything from a standard 2 ¾” (70mm) shell light load through to the heaviest thing available. This IS good for steel shot (though DO PLEASE read on to the end)!
Stock length measures to a 14 ¼” (362mm) Trigger Pull and brings in an O/A length of 49 3/8” (1255mm). Scales tip at 7 Lbs 4 oz (3.288 Kg). All with its original Benelli Branded Hard Carry Case.
As said, this appears to be in almost as new condition. Nothing at all by way of blemishes or sign of use. Lets liken it to a car with delivery mileage only, from a garage not too far away. All Black Finish to the metal work and synthetic stock. Textured grip areas for a positive none slip hold. Sling Swivel points with QD swivel attached ready. A GREAT bonus for Wildfowling expeditions or pigeon shooting when carrying a hide / decoys etc.
