Model IZH-94 Baikal Combination Over and Under Rifle in .223 with 12 Gauge Shotgun Barrel on top. 23 5/8” (600mm) Barrels with Multi-Choke Facility for the shotgun. Unfortunately only one choke currently supplied with 4 ‘slots’. As such and detailed at IC for Improved Cylinder. Also IC Lead as well as IM for Steel. 3” (75mm) Magnum Chambers too. Stock Pull measures to 14 ¾” (375mm) and combines for an Overall Length of 40 5/8” (1033mm). Scales register a bare weight at 8 Lbs 2 ½ oz (3.7 Kg).
One single owner who purchased it Brand New and tells me he hardly actually used it. Basically always ‘fancied’ a combination and persuaded himself to buy it. Then realised he had no great actual use for one. In reality they ARE a gun for a limited number of people. Especially in a smaller calibre rifle calibre as this. Game Keepers / dedicated Pest and Vermin Controllers etc.
If you DO actually have a need then they prove invaluable.
Open / Iron sights with Windage Adjustment Screws to the rear V. It appears Elevation is achieved by screwing the Front Bead in or out to zero. Then a small grub screw to lock in place. Plane Blacked finish None Ejector Action set to what IS quite a Bonny Looking Stock. Some Excellent Colour Contrast as well as General Grain Pattern with Crossover Tiger Stripe Highlights. Marginal R/H cast and will very likely shoot from either shoulder. Top Tang mounted Safety also lends itself for use from either shoulder too. As such I will list this as Ambidextrous. Double Trigger Format so EASY to shoot whichever preferred barrel first. The usual ‘continental’ style Sling Stud points with front option soldered in place to the barrel. Standard Width Dovetail factory fitted ready to accept matching rings in whatever tube size / diameter required.
