Specification on each and every model is SUPERB for Price Point. I consider they match or beat anything else available in the same cost bracket. Build Quality and Performance is simply EXCELLENT. Additional Features are almost ridiculous. You could find your way through fog that thick your hand disappears at arms-length. Built in Electronic Compass. Matching Gyroscope Features to show Cant / Tilt to left or right as well as Up and Down.
None removable HIGH performance re-chargeable Li-ion batteries with 10 hours + run time. Some options extend that to exceed 18 hours +. Slide a Micro HD SD Memory Card in and record everything you want that comes into view. They even stream direct to a mobile or other devise in real / live time if needed. That WILL be an exceptionally handy feature for anyone fighting rural crime and poaching.
Range finding capability, even bullet drop compensation with the right scope. These binoculars have the same features too. The list goes on….and on.
Another EXTREMELY handy feature is the ‘ONE SHOT ZERO’ capability. Save a LOT of time and expense. OR spend what you do save on practicing and hopefully improve your shooting even more. A detail to bear in mind is that the variable magnification capabilities adjusts in set increments. They do not run through smoothly up or down but ‘hop’ to the next level pre-set in that particular model. On 3-6 and 4-8 it is either 3 or 6 and 4 or 8 respectively. Turn the unit on and it will start up on the lower mag level. Depress the mag / zoom button and x2 will appear on the screen. Showing the magnification is now at x2 or, in effect, Doubled. As such 3x is then 6 power and 4x jumps straight to 8.

In RESPONSIBLE hands these make crop protection or pest control as EASY as it is EVER going to get. ANYONE who does buy one I can only PLEAD that you use it correctly. ANY SILLY SOD can shoot something they are not supposed to Especially in the middle of the night. Nowhere to go. No way of seeing you back and no idea you can clearly see it. THAT IS NOT SPORT, NOT CLEVER and a LONG WAY from ETHICAL or FARE. If that IS what you want one of these for then PLEASE SOD OFF and spend your money elsewhere. I have ZERO interest in assisting poaching in any way.
I KNOW the consequence of people doing exactly that. A lot of the shooting permission I have basically swept clean of near every last living thing. ALL because of GREED and a lack of any respect for anything. As said, if that is you then keep your money. ALL I can HOPE is that the same happens to any permission/s you hold.

Apart from anything else Day / Night units as well as Thermal ARE both to use in any lighting conditions. It does NOT need to be dark.
Final bit for now; As per Details and Specifications these units ARE water RESISTANT only. That does NOT mean water PROOF. The built in battery cover and function buttons will only protect so much. If water penetrates it WILL likely cause damage which is NOT covered under warranty. Use YOUR judgement if out and the weather turns bad. You get a zipped scope cover that WILL slide on and fasten up sufficiently to increase protection substantially. KEEP IT IN A POCKET when out. Alternatively put the rifle back into a slip if on the open hill etc.
This IS only comment from me. All units like this, from any manufacturer, are basically the same. FULL of electronics and micro-processors. Just as you keep a computer dry, do the same with whichever option you choose, and have zero issues.

The 4K Variable Magnification 4×16 Power Binocular for Full Day and Night / 24 hour use.
Admittedly Slightly strange in comparison with a traditional pair of binoculars. However they ARE just about easy enough to figure out even without actually READING the instructions.
Each eye piece individually adjusts to perfect focus for each eye. A little unusual but clever is the sliding left hand side ocular. This travels across approx. 3/8” (10mm) to suit just about ANY standard distance between pupils for the vast majority of adults. (Instead of the usual hinge option). Look CLOSELY at the left eye piece in relation to the ATN logo in the images. You should see the distance is different between the two pictures. The body housing is completely fixed / solid. Get each eye focus as near perfect on the digital display and THEN SLOWLY bring in the MAIN Focus. As per details showing on images you achieve this by gently rotating the Right Hand Front Objective. If moving between shorter and longer distances a lot you DO need to keep adjusting. Especially for effective Range Finding out to 1000 yards / meters.
For that it’s a simple QUICK press on the On / Off button. Four arrows from each corner form into a small target area ‘box’ to locate the range finder. Distance appears to the top left corner.
ALL the same features and more as detailed above mainy for the rifle scope adverts. Obviously minus any reticle etc. As detailed you can inter-connect with a suitable ATN rifle scope AND even supply Ballistic Information Exchange. I.E. Automatically Factor In Bullet Drop. It connects your / any smart phone or any other WiFi devise close enough. You can even opt to make use of the ‘Social Radar’ Hunting (or other application) Facility. Take individual HD images and / or Full HD video too. Right up to 120 fps once a matching Micro SD card is slid in. Max capacity on the binoculars is 64GB and battery capacity up to and exceeding 15 hours use. 2 YEAR MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY subject to THEIR terms.
ALL equipment (Night and / or Day) generally works fairly well as long as there IS some ambient light. Stars and / or a little Moon light DOES help tremendously with image quality. When cloud cover is thick and very little natural light available you will struggle. These units WILL benefit and perform on a completely different level when used in conjunction with additional Infra-Red Illumination. The more powerful the torch / illumination the better quality image and more you will see.
Two options are available from ATN. Either the IR850-Pro Long Range OR IR850-Supernova Long Range. £159.99 and £189.99 respectively. Both options come with Adjustable Mount BUT THESE are for scope mounting. To use with Binoculars like these a Head Mounted unit or Torch Holder are likely the best option. It IS something I will come up with and test ASAP.
I only detail the above comments in the interests of clarity. To allow and help you make an informed choice. Most nights tend to have some background light source/s so most situations are perfectly acceptable. An IR Illuminator is something you can add at any point IF you find your shooting requires it. If not then simply enjoy the basic unit.
