Barrel is currently 17” (430mm) and Screw Cut a standard ½ x 20 UNF thread. Ready for a sound moderator of choice. PLENTY to choose from in stock both new and pre-used. Stock offers up a trigger pull at 14” (355mm) and combines to bring in an Overall Length of 35 ¾” (908mm). (The ONLY reason the previous owner decided to trade against a much shorter. Finds it a bit long for manoeuvring it in the cab of his truck when lamping rabbits). Scales register a bare weight of 6 lbs 7 ¾ oz (2.94 Kg).
Stock has a Very Tight Strong Straight Grain with Vertical Tiger Stripe Highlights through each side from tip to toe. It IS a Bonny Looking Rifle. Raised Roll Over Cheek Rest so definitely a Right Handed set up and Skip / Fox Cut Chequering. A feature I always like and consider just gives that little extra aesthetic to any gun. Rosewood Grip Cap and White ‘diamond’ inset and Schnable Forend. ONLY issue there is a previous owner must have wanted a bi-pod fitted. To do so they have drilled a second sling stud hole. About the only thing to tidy such up is to screw in a second stud! Happy to do so….maybe should have before taking pictures! That’s the worst thing to detail and a bit silly really. Given zero recoil its FAR better to simply fit a bi-pod with the legs coming back over! Anyway, I’ll stop short of calling them a pillock, but only just. … or MAYBE not!
