Anschutz Model 1774 Bolt Action Rifle in .222 calibre. 23 5/8” (600mm) Barrel and a trigger pull at 14” (355mm). Combined give an overall length of 42 ½” (1080mm) and weighs in at an ounce short of 7 Lbs (3.156 Kg).
ALWAYS will be an absolutely CLASSIC little calibre which somehow fell from favour a few years back. Thankfully it IS making a great comeback as riflemen start to rediscover why it has been around for so long already. There IS a lot to be said for longevity. Anything that is NOT worth keeping around never stays around. That alone SHOULD shut down ANY doubts you might have if thinking about trying a .222. This WILL do exactly the same as any other .22 centre fire calibre. Certainly over what most TRUE Sportsmen would and SHOULD consider sensible range.
A Very Nice and Very Decorative Strong Straight Grain with Good Cross Patterning throughout the entire length, both sides. Semi Hogs Back Style with a Raised Cheek Rest and Chequering still in Excellent Condition. As is the entire rifle in general. Detachable Magazine and fitted with a standard single operation Adjustable Trigger.
Action is machined with a standard width Dovetail and also drilled and tapped for additional security. NOT anything actually needed on such a sweet shooting and mild recoil round.
